Christmas came early for us this year🎄 At our 20 week ultrasound we found out our sweet little Emerie Rose had a heart defect & I was diagnosed with Placenta Previa. Devastated was not even the word— All you pray for is a healthy baby.—After having our miscarriage earlier this year I struggled to even enjoy the first trimester— scared to death every little cramp and pain it was going to happen again but after we got over the scary 14 weeks I started to let the worry go. We went into a normal 20 week ultrasound and came out in worry and fear once again. I felt completely robbed of the joy of pregnancy— more worry & more tears but we stayed as hopeful and positive as we could.— Fast forward to today where we met with our specialist & all our prayers have been answered!! NO heart defect & my placenta has already moved up. Seeing our 2lb 7oz perfect little babe dance and move around at our ultrasound today made me so thankful—Thankful to just be on this journey of motherhood & thankful I was given this opportunity. •
