While I as running the other day, I came across a man who was walking down the road, wearing some super clean white sneakers. From a distance, they looked like a pair old school K-Swiss...., just like the ones I gave away on Thanksgiving Day. As I got closer to the man, I realized, “hold up, those are the K-Swiss that I gave away on Thanksgiving Day!” This homeless friend has been bringing a smile to my heart for several years now. Whether it’s the short conversations about college football we have on Saturday mornings in the BJ’s parking lot, as I buy him a donut and coffee, or him giving me some valuable running tips, he is always making me smile!!!! Although he may think that I am helping him, he has no idea just how much his smiling face helps me! God speed my friend!
