The story of Nello and Patrasche is about a poor orphan and his four-legged friend, a classic of the nineteenth century. The English novel "A Dog of Flanders" tells the story of a poor boy from Hoboken who, together with his dog, sells milk every day in Antwerp. It is the friendship between the two and the positivity of the poor Nello, which makes the story so popular. Nello eventually died of cold and deprivation, after he finally saw the paintings of Rubens in the Antwerp cathedral.
