REMASTERED FROM MY BLINDING ACHE
************************************************************
Our story drifted with time
With a thousand questions hanging on its tendrils
No farewells
Just a memory that refused to die
A sound screaming at us from far away
that every noise tried to drown
Sifting through empty corners of the world,
in search for remnants of our flame
This.
Our version of the end
Or what should have been
We finally found ourselves
back where it began
As if our absence never was
Our spark, still earth shattering
There, our hearts grappled in silence
hearing all that were unsaid before
Aching loudly for a chance to stay
Yet all we have left now are goodbyes
the obvious fate we denied from the start
Now here we are, alone in this moment
So we could teach ourselves a new way to see love
That sometimes its greatest measure is simply to LET GO..
