〰️ | it’s raining in California, I want to wear oversized sweaters and coats, long dresses and sneakers as often as possible... I remember always being afraid of wearing what I wanted to wear. there was (and still is) this critical voice that always says I’m not tall enough for that, or my hips are too big for those pants, or everyone is going to see every imperfection I see if I wear *insert well-fitting article of clothing*. insecurity comes in every size. it’s been a long, and (still ongoing) process of loving the body I’ve been given and ultimately choosing to take care of it, but life is too short to wear things that don’t make you feel your best. cause yes, we are more than how we dress. life is too short to not love yourself. despite whatever size you may be, wearing whatever makes you happy is both an act of rebellion and act of self-love 🤘🏼⚡️
