Justice league: the death of Superman
The JL is well know and established at this point, with several new members and are for the most part loved by the world. One day a meteor crash lands on earth, the justice league sends a few members to investigate and find that it isn’t a meteor it was a containment pod. The league takes the pod back to the watch tower to examine. There is a video log and it’s a warning. The contents of the pod is A monster built only to destroy. if it is loose then they need to run. The league find the creatures trail and they send a few league members after it. Those leaguers barley escape with there lives. They regroup and call all JL members to handle the situation. The lanterns and flash evacuate the city while other league members fight this creature. Once the city is empty all league members go at it with this creature. One by one the Leaguers are taken down, hurt, beaten, some even near death.
