We ventured out this weekend to the Sand Dunes State Forest—and believe it or not it was quite the ordeal to get there. One fourth of us was NOT excited for our midday hike and decided to throw a fit. It wasn’t until we got out there and started exploring that said pouty pants changed their tune and ended up really enjoying our time. Sometimes you just need to plug your ears, toss them in the car and drive! .
