Today I marked a milestone... my first ever cake order went live! Birthday cake done for this gorgeous lady @dilrukshui 
I’ve always loved baking, weekend baking done for your loyal taste testers and a fully fledged order has a world of difference.
I was also hesitant as my sister has her own amazing cake business. I felt it would not be right to be competition. She thought I was silly and sent me a little eye roll. She’s inspired me to bring the best in my abilities and also pushes me to find my own way. It also make me realize we also have very different ideas of creativity and of course I’m the novice. Lastly I can only imagine how happy my mother would have been as she always wanted to do catering and baking but never got the chance to go ahead as she fell ill.

Three layer chocolate and vanilla sponge with coffee and brandy notes. Chocolate butter cream icing with a dash of espresso and brandy. Coated with edible gold, and baci chocolates.
Decor - soft pink natural peonies and Chinese dry tea roses. 
All with lashings of love.
