I am also curious if you can guess which is my @tjflutes piccolo and which is the Keefe - both beautiful (almost) new instruments of high value: Grenadilla wood, full silver mechanism💎 This week we are playing the 1st symphony by Sibelius, both 1st and 2nd flute has a short part to double on the piccolo, so it came the idea to borrow the Keefe to film this little comparison video and btw I can’t wait to perform the Badinerie with orchestras alongside the Mozart D major concerto in December (more info soon)🤩🤩🤩 Have a great day, guys!

PS: I am gonna let you know which piccolo is which later in my stories. I love both!♥️ The Keefe has a very smooth middle reg (which is rare) but both the low and very high register works easier for me on my Trevor James picc probably because of the reform-cut headjoint. .
