We think taking care of one another is one of the most important things we can do 🤝 The Street River does, too.
As a group of local Brazilian artists, they got together believing that art can help revitalize communities in the Amazon River basin. By providing art, clean water, housing, education, health centers, and workshops, they’ve started a meaningful project that’s changing lives.
We’re so grateful to be part of the work they’re doing and think these numbers are amazing:
🎨15 stilt houses revitalized
💧20 Water Filters Installed (these supply 1,300 people per day with water for 5 years each)
☀️200 children are served with solar energy at their daycare school
🍎2 decks rebuilt for access to homes and school 🛶7 canoes renovated for local transportation
🖌100 adults and 500 children participating in art workshops and residencies
✔️4,000 Amazonian residents positively impacted 💬20,000 locals voices heard
