I’m traveling so I don’t have access to a lot of art materials but being in Tennessee is making me super happy. It’s amazing to experience a REAL Fall. Example: it was 84 today in Jax and in Johnson City, TN it was 43 🍁❄️ I’m grateful for my summer in Bakersville at Penland. I hadn’t realized just how unhappy I’ve been in Jax and the weather plays a big role in that. Actually, I think it plays a big role in a lot of people’s lives but nobody realizes it’s true impact until they are somewhere else. Just another day-just another 95 degrees-and we go on with our lives. I often wait to take my dog for a walk until after 9PM and it’s STILL 90 outside. More to come about that stuff but skip to the last photo for a primo book suggestion! I have a few chapters before I finish but it explains a lot about how I’ve been feeling since my NC summer.
