In this foto (Wiki): The Monument Canto al Trabajo is the work of the Argentine sculptor Roberto Yrurtia (1879-1950), one of the most outstanding bronzes of Argentine sculpture. It was inaugurated in 1907 and is located on the Plazoleta "Coronel Manuel de Olazábal", on a rectangular basement of low height. It consists of 14 bronze figures that, grouped together, seem to drag a gigantic stone. The monument allegorically expresses the liberating meaning and effort of work and, also, the dignification of women in the life of man as support, energy and hope in the common struggle. .
