If the Panerai watches have something it is DNA. This DNA transports us many times to the Second World War, where it was present. Without entering into ideological judgments or factions, the brand is history, for good and for bad. And in this series of photographs I want to pay homage to history and its legacy. Next to the "Fiddy" the camera Argus C-3 one of those who was in the Normandy landings on D-Day with photographers like Tony Vaccaro who used his camera throw at Omaha Beach where the infantryman came ashore 74 years ago.
