This smiling girl really makes my day, every day. A year has gone so quickly and I can’t imagine life without her happy face in it. .

What I could live without though is that poor single highlight my hair had decided to keep this year. Normally my hair goes lighter in summer from the sun but since becoming a mom my hair has been extremely neglected and has no time to be bleached by sun and salt water (anyone else feeling me on that one?👋🏻). I’m thinking I might just have to go to the hair dresser to make that poor little highlight less lonely. Knowing me though next time I do sit in that hair dresser chair I will just say what I always say “don’t take too much please, I’m saving it out”, which I’m sure I will keep on saying until it reaches my toes and my husband will have to stage a hair intervention to make me cut it properly. It’s funny because I used to be so ballsy with my hair, I’ve had shorter than short, it’s been black, platinum blonde (at the same time as bleached eyebrow were trendy in the Stockholm fashion world and I decided it was a great idea for me too.... it was NOT a great idea I tell you!), it’s been almost red, I’ve had it in a bob, a lob and I’ve had balayage after a very unsuccessful home dye. Maybe that’s why I’m so nervous about trying anything new with my hair now.. I’m mean I’m even scared of brushing it 🙈
