Honestly something I thank God for every day is my personality and my perspective bc both of those things help me relate to ppl well and be able to love on them. I am someone who hates feeling anything negative or even being around it, but bc of that I also tend to avoid conflict (which I’m trying to get better at). But what I’m trying to say here is that there are pros and cons to everything in life, but we get the choice on how we react and handle situations.

God calls us to be a light in the darkness, but in order to do that we must go where the darkness is and that can be challenging. A verse I love to cling to when things get tough for me is John 16:33, “Here on Earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” I hope this can encourage someone today to choose happiness and joy bc we serve a God who is so much greater than anything we face.
