If we want children to flourish, to become truly empowered, then let us allow them to love the earth before we ask them to save it. Perhaps this is what Thoreau had in mind when he said, “the more slowly trees grow at first, the sounder they are at the core, and I think the same is true of human beings.”

I am so proud of my boy💙 For those of you that don’t know this, My baby and first born has always been a tip toe walker. He does this at least 90% of the time and ever since he first started walking. For him it’s simply a habit. But unfortunately habits can be so hard to break. We have tried therapy and so far it hasn’t worked for him. At age 3, we started him with a physical therapist and then moved on to occupational therapy after 6 months. He did really well with the OT, but after he stopped at 4, he still couldn’t break the habit. So at 5, we started again at a new place with physical therapy again. I was seeing improvement at first, but still he’s tip toe walking ALL the time......😭 we waited til age 3, because it is very common to outgrow this by age 3. But unfortunately Noah didn’t, and this can cause issues down the road. He just started with Orthotics and is doing great!☺️👌🏻❤️ personally I’m so proud of him because he’s open to it and puts them on all by himself☺️☺️☺️#proudmomma Anyhoo, the reason I am sharing this is so y’all can cheer him on and we can pray for no more tip toe walking as cute as it is when they are little. He is 5 1/2 now so let’s wish him well and be his cheerleaders 🙌🏻😻#lovemyboy#superproudofhim#idiopathictiptoewalking#helovesnature#naturewalkswithmybabyboy
