Flashback Friday to Onyx beach 🏖, widely known along the North Shore as Black beach 🖤🖤🖤because of its three dark crescents of dark sand. This beach also has crystal clear coves, a bit of driftwood, and a tall jumble of lichen encrusted rock 🏞- all of it backed by thickly forested 🌲🍂🍁🌲hillsides or the lake itself! It’s basically a photographer’s paradise and I’m so glad I went. You can watch crazy big waves from Lake Superior 🌊 hit the shoreline while standing on black beach!
