Operation Impact is set to take place over this #ThanksgivingWeekend, from October 5th - 8th, 2018. This is a national public awareness campaign aimed at making #Canadas roads the safest in the world. All enforcement agencies across the country have been invited to participate with a goal to increase public compliance with safe driving measures in order to #savelives and reduce injuries on our roads.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service will be participating in this years theme which is #DriveToSaveLives. This initiative will once again focus on behaviors that put drivers, passengers and other road users most at risk: impaired driving, lack of seat belt use, aggressive driving, and distracted driving.
