#FLEXAPPEAL There are very few people who could convince me to dance in the middle of a busy street, but @mother_pukka and @amothersplace are definitely two of them. And when the reason for a group of tired, dishevelled parents dancing together in a busy city centre is to tackle maternity discrimination and to push for greater work flexibility, I’ll happily get my Saturday Night Fever on in broad daylight on a Friday afternoon. The workplace has lost too many talented parents because of its ridged refusal to let people work flexibly, so I’m proud to be shouting #flex at the top of my voice today at Cardiff Capitol Shopping Centre by the Mother Statue with so many of my favourite mums. If you’re free, come down at 12pm to shake ya ass with me in the name of #flexibleworking!
