By way of introduction— Hello! My name is Whitney Ward and I am a Co-founder of Roots Music, Art, Culture, & Wellness Festival. The basis for this festival is rooted in both me and my sister @creative.matrix.goddess ‘s healing journeys, celebrating women and the diverse cultures, artists, and musicians of the POC community, normalizing collective and inter-relational healing of the WOC and POC communities and broadening people’s perspectives of what healing looks like, focusing on the interdependency of the body, mind, and spirit. We want to also create an avenue for people to come together and learn more about these healing practices. We plan to expand this festival to other areas of China, countries in the West, and to countries of the Motherland. We vow to be authentic and truthful with ourselves and this process, in the name of healing and elevating the collective consciousness.
