Today’s truth: God uses weak people. Time and time again in the scriptures, we see God calling people who seem less than perfect-broken people, people with messed up pasts, people who have trouble trusting God-people just like us. God uses people according to His great plan for His glory. So often we write ourselves off because we don’t think we’re “good enough.” Next time that lie creeps its way into your mind, ask yourself, “Where am I placing my hope? In my ability or in God’s power?” God has the ability to redeem any story, to use any person, and the ability to glorify Himself even through the most unlikely stories.
