For decades, humans and crocodiles have been living together in Balabac, a faraway municipality located in the southernmost part of Palawan (almost so near Malaysia already!).
.
But according to authorities, it is only now that they recorded back-to-back crocodile-related deaths in Balabac: first one was just last November and the second one happened three months later (February 2018).

.
Now, the crocodiles, given their traits of being territorial, aren’t liking this change at all, so they are becoming somewhat angry toward the humans who have been invading their territories, hence the recent attacks.
