It’s one of those days of the year when most moms are posting pics of their kiddos headed back to school. Big smiles on both sides of the camera... kids ready to start a new grade, moms ready for a second to catch her breath from a busy summer. If I’m honest today is one of those days I wish I could hide from. It’s a HUGE painful reminder of what should be, but isn’t. It’s a day when walking the happy/sad line is really hard. I’m excited for my friends and how their lives are going, but my heart is full of emotions about how things ended for my Creed. Just Saturday I was walking around the shops in Franklin and this butterfly caught my eye. It’s like it spoke to me. I walked past it twice before texting Steve about buying it. It now hangs on my wall and I get to stare at it as much as I want. Call me crazy... I’m totally fine with it, but I think Creed wanted me to feel comforted as this day crept up again. He would’ve been in the 8th grade this year which absolutely blows my mind. Our first and last first day of school was Kindergarten. I’ve spent lots of my day imagining who he’d be. I miss him with all my heart and can’t wait until he’s in my arms again!!! #creedlove
