To me, “Love Yourself” is still quite militant. For the longest time, I believed in the nobility of self-sacrifice - to the point of exhaustion, numbness and anxiety. Now I get it. I can’t pour from an empty cup. 🤷🏽‍♂️

These days I like to take a moment for myself. I disrupt my normal brain activity - hyperactive, febrile, constantly turning - with intentional breathing. I press my magic Pause ⏸ button. Headstands are great because they help me stay present literally from second to second. It’s fascinating to observe how still the mind really can be. And in my own way, I’m slowly training my mind to be my ally, instead of my my own worst enemy. Namaste. 🙏🏽
