Please forgive us for using this (instagram) as an instrument to drive home a local issue that is important to us. If you have dogs and live in the bay area, this is extremely important and by reading and acting, you might help keep the world class off leash areas that San francisco has enjoyed intact - otherwise, all of the dogs and their owners will lose the privilege of easily getting out with minimal effort to their favorite epic spot with their dogs forever. They will get fat and miserable in no time. Both the dogs and the humans that is. The issue has gone mostly under the radar and the outcome doesn’t look good. The decision will be made in a few days and without enough people who question (sign the petition today) the sleazy, relatively low level quiet and below ground introduction of this off leash limit by the national park service (that was overturned a few years ago), dog owners will lose this privilege forever or at least a long long time. At least not with the probability of being ticketed. Could you imagine being ticketed for what you have done daily/weekly for years?
