![100 years ago on this day, guns and rifles fell silent on the battlefields of Europe. After 4 years, the first world war ended. This war was a conflict that shaped the world forever, what once started with cheering later changed the course of history and caused a political firestorm that was unknown to the world. The results of this "War to end all wars“ can still be seen today. It cost about 19,000,000 military personnel, and about 9,000,000 civilians’ lives. With over 100 nations involved, it was the biggest conflict the world has ever seen at that time. The ember of The First World War and the Treaty of Versailles would later start the fire of WW2. ———————————————
