🌹𝐼𝓉’𝓈 𝑔𝑒𝓉𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒸𝑜𝓁𝒹 𝑜𝓊𝓉𝓈𝒾𝒹𝑒 🌬I love words.
I live surrounded by them, I nourish them in the depths of my heart, let my mind soak in them. I love spelling the sounds, being each and every time amazed by them creating words and even sentences. I love weaving them into fabrics of a text, which looks like an ornament from a distance.
Not surprisingly, I have my favorite words. Do you?
In Russian, I’m irrevocably in love with the word коловратность (it spells: colovratnost’) which means the ever-changing, unstable and yet innerly the same and repeating nature of things. The most ridiculous word in Russian that I know is зевота (spells zevota). For some reasons I can’t stop giggling every time I hear it. It stands for yawning as a noun describing the action, which is quite hilarious itself as well.
I love Japanese words-moods for they are exceptionally poetic. I love Komorebi (sunlight filtering through the tree leaves), Mono-no-aware (bittersweetness of fading beauty), and, most of all, Yuugen (the oneness of all things).
However, my most favorite word is, I think, Xibipíío, from a language of a little tribe living in the Amazon forests. It translates: to cease to exist or to appear, to be born or disappear, to cross the limits of perception. In their culture, everything what is not detected by any senses at the exact moment doesn’t exist anymore. I love this notion as often I find myself believing that things, once I left them, stay the same until I approach them again (quite foolish of me, I know). In fact, they keep changing, dying with every second and being reborn over and over again.
Xibipíío, in this case, to me is about accepting the ever-changing nature of things as well as our place in this world (which isn’t central), not trying to capture things or people inside one’s mind, or to stop the time. In short, accepting the world for what it is.🍊🍊_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

A passing by plane will do just fine.
All that throwing coins into fountains, waiting for the clock to strike midnight and other seemingly magical things, in my opinion, aren’t an important part of making a wish. Forming it clearly inside one’s mind is helpful, but not really important, either.
What really matters is letting go.
All my wishes that went real only did so when I forgot all about them. I grew them inside my heart, formed them with my mind and then set them free into the world, letting them wander on their own. Only then did something come out of it. And it was always unexpected, like a thunderbolt straight out of clear sky in a peaceful sunny day. By the time my wishes became a pieces of reality instead of figments of imagination, I forgot them completely.
The world of paradoxes, huh?
I think that’s witty, you know. In a sense that if you want to get something, be ready to give something first. Give without any expectations or even hope. Without mastering a complicated plan or calculating every step. Just give on the spur of the moment. Let it go and let things wander on their own.
Let the world surprise you.⚡️We all choose what to feel. We all choose which parts of reality to keep in our minds and hearts and which to let go. We choose what to remember.
And that’s the Prague I want to remember. Vltava River flowing peacefully. Tall majestic buildings savoring the last sunlight of a day. Crispy air and soft wind caressing the rebellious locks of hair. All that in my most favorite time of the day: sunset. This is also the last picture of Prague that I am to share in my feed.
Since my gram is closest to the travel blog (imo at least), here are main Prague TRAVEL TIPS:
🔹Bring comfortable shoes and a jacket. Be ready for lots of walking and freezing nights. 🔹Bring some cash. Cards aren’t accepted in a great deal of places and the commission in local ATMs is pretty high.
🔹If you want to visit St. Vitus Cathedral (a.k.a. the most fam Prague sightseeing), keep in mind that without ticket you may enter it but may not wander. I recommend buying a route-B ticket as 1. It is the cheapest one 2. The equally awesome and less known Basilica of St. George is included.
🔹Strongly recommend joining a free walking sightseeing tour at the first day in Prague. This way, you will get to know the city. And if you like the tour, you are very welcome to tip your guide.
🔹I also recommend spending the first evening in Wikipedia, reading about Prague. This way, you will know more about the city and will have an idea what you want to see or to do. 🔹My fav places: Memorial to the Victims of Communism, Kafka’s Head, Spanish Synagogue, Basilica of st. George, Charles Bridge.
That’s it.
Bye Prague.
Maybe I will meet you again someday.

#travelholic#exploremore #goexplore #getoutsideI’ve been thinking for some time with which picture to start telling you about the trip across Japan which took place this May.
You know, starting something is often regarded as a very serious thing, where you simply HAVE to put EVERYTHING right. Deliver hilarious jokes (always fail on that), describe things masterfully, tell stories captivatingly and use as many symbols as one could. All that in one picture and one text to go with it.
Then I realized that there is no such thing as perfect start. You just do. Or spend eternity waiting for the right moment, mastering your start. And the start is probably the messiest thing in the entire process. Also, the most encouraging one. So I start.
I have never been to Japan and never thought of visiting it until my best friend became a huge fan of it, always bringing me some tasty and unusual things from this country (personally, I am in love with Sakura latte, KitKat with white peach, Clear Coke and those rice buns with all sorts of things inside them, beans included). I knew close to nothing about this country and it seemed so different, like it was an entirely another planet.
Fortunately (or not), we live in the era when close to everything could be googled. I did a vast research that included the fact that there is usually no Sakura blossoms left in Japan by the May. Well, that was one of those cases when research proved to be not entirely accurate.
Imagine my surprise and delight when we saw Sakura blossoms near Fuji mountain!
What I want to say with this picture is that miracles do happen.
And, in my opinion, it is the best start possible. What impressed and fascinated me most in Japanese culture was how much it is focused on the exact moment, how attentive it is to that “now”.
For me, “now” itself is almost non-existent, being either Past or Foreseeable Future. What is more, every past memory and future goal are evaluated, analyzed and then placed somewhere inside my own head. I cannot recall any moment when I was entirely focused on the “now”-moment without that never-stopping roaring burden of thoughts on the background.
Japanese, somehow, can do that (or so it seems according to what I’ve learned about the language and art).
I sincerely adore that ability. I adore all those exceptionally poetic and extremely moment-attentive “untranslatable” Japanese words: Komorebi (sun filtering through the tree leaves), Yuugen (the oneness of all things), Ukiyo (floating world), boketto (gazing into the distance and the world without thinking)...
I think, this is one of the things that would be helpful to learn from the Japanese culture. In the modern world, full of rush, the present is often under-appreciated.PARIS.

When travelling on an #aeroplane its always so surreal to look at the world beneath you and to think your actually flying across the #world in the #sky. You wake up in one country and can go to sleep in another country, aircraft technology is amazing. Its even better when you take off and you feel like you are practically level with the sunset, that’s my favourite. When the warm colours fill the sky and you can feel the warmth through the window pane before the sunsets.
