Zabralo mi to presne 5 minút. Naozaj.
Dostala som nový hrniec = crock-pot a prišla som na to, že s týmto hrncom sa dá variť úžasné jedlo aj za 5 minút! Ide o pomalo-varný hrniec, ktorý jedno jedlo varí cca 4 až 8 hodín (čím dlhšie to tam necháš, tým lepšia chuť). Znie to ako veľa času, no ty tam v podstate iba nahádžeš suroviny, prikryješ a o nič sa už nestaráš. A to všetko bez oleja a tuku. Ja v tom varím napríklad cez noc, prípadne ráno to tam nahádžem a mám obed/večeru. Určite to doporučujem všetkým ľuďom, čo nemajú čas, prípadne všetkým labužníkom, pretože tie chute po 8 hodinách pomalého varenia sú úplne iné.

💚Pri tomto konkrétnom recepte som len kúpila 800g morčacích pŕs, umyla ich, okorenila a hodila do hrnca. Zaliala paradajkovým pretlakom a hotovo. Nič jednoduchšie nie je. Nechala som to tam 8 hodín, ale hotové to bolo už po 4. Hodinu pred dokončením som tam ešte dala nakrájanú papriku. Po 8 hodinách sa mäsko rozpadalo samo, stačilo do neho štuchnúť vidličkou, takže trhané mäso si v tomto hrnci spravíš úplne bez námahy. Nabudúce skúsim s hovädzím, to bude hádam ešte lahodnejšie. Trhané mäso je super na milión spôsobov, môžeš si ho dať do tortilly alebo do hamburgeru a podobne. Proste sen.🤤

Chicken Curry with Coconut Milk

Ingredients ·  1 lb organic chicken breasts ·  3 tbsp curry powder mild ·  1 tsp turmeric powder ·  ½ tsp ground coriander ·  2 tsp sea salt ·  2 15-oz cans organic coconut milk ·  1 cup water ·  2 cloves garlic crushed ·  4 c sweet potatoes cut into 1-inch cubes ·  1 medium sweet onion cut into 1-inch pieces ·  Cilantro optional

Directions

1.  In a small bowl combine curry powder, turmeric, coriander, sea salt. Toss to combine.
2.  Place chicken breasts in a 4-6 quart slow cooker.
3.  Add coconut milk and water. Make sure to lift up the chicken breasts to prevent the chicken from burning.
4.  Add garlic, and the bowl of seasoning ingredients. Stir the liquid to incorporate the seasonings.
5.  Add sweet potatoes and onions. Stir to combine.
6.  Cover slow cooker and set to Low for 6-8 hours, or High for 4-6 hours.
7.  Check on curry during the last hour of cooking and stir the ingredients if the curry is starting to stick to the sides.
8.  During the last 30 minutes of cooking, remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with a fork. Place chicken back into the slow cooker for the remaining time.
9.  Turn off slow cooker and let rest for at least 20 minutes before serving.  This will help thicken up the sauce.

2 cups almond milk 
1 cup full fat coconut milk(from BPA free can)
2 apples(peeled + chopped)
1/4 cup	raisins
2 tsp maple syrup 
1 tsp vanilla extract 
Cook on low for up to 10 hours.

My recipe, Beef Stew with Butternut Squash, is as follows:

1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 tspn pepper
1 lb beef stewing meat (or sirloin) trimmed and cut into 1 inch cubes
5 tspn vegetable oil
3 tspn Worcester Sauce
4 c beef broth
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
3 long carrots, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch rounds
2 stalks of celery 
2 large baking potatoes (or 7 baby potatoes) peeled and cut into 3/4-inch cubes
2 tspn salt
1/2 small Butternut Squash 🍴 Combine the flour and pepper in a plastic bag, add the beef, and toss to coat well. Heat 3 teaspoons of oil in a pan and add the beef a few pieces at a time (do not overcrowd). Cook the beef, turning the pieces until beef is browned on all sides (about 5 minutes per batch); add more oil as needed between batches. Remove the beef from the pan and place in crock pot (I use a liner for easy cleanup) with broth and three teaspoons of Worcester sauce.  Heat on high heat for two hours. While crock pot is cooking, chop the onion, carrots, celery, and potatoes and place to the side. Cook butternut squash in the oven at 400 for 45 minutes. Once done, remove from oven, let cool and remove skin and chop. After two full hours of crock pot cooking, add onion, carrots, celery, potatoes, and butternut squash to crock pot and cook for another 2 hours. My recipe, Cranberry Portobello Brisket, is as follows:

Generally I make this brisket on the stovetop in an 8 quart stockpot. Everything is made in one pot. However, I tried this in the crockpot for the first time. I cut the ingredients down due to space. Feel free to add more onions and mushrooms, if you make this on the stovetop. I generally use a whole bag of onions and a few packages of mushrooms. It seems like a lot but I promise it isn’t and adds so much flavor!

Ingredients:
•Olive oil
•4 Onions- slice onion in half and then slice each half into thin slices
•2 Packages of Sliced Portobello Mushrooms
•1 Package of Onion Soup (we use Goodman’s)
•1 Can of Whole Cranberries
•3-4 Lb. Beef Brisket

Since I usually make this on the stovetop, I add a generous amount of olive oil in the pot and sauté the onions and mushrooms together. I then sear the meat and add the other ingredients. You can still sauté the onions and mushrooms on the stovetop and sear the meat before transferring it all to the crockpot. I did that for this recipe. However if you want to cut back on time (and extra pots), I’m sure you can just add the onions and mushrooms to the bottom of the crockpot and then add the meat. Either way you will top the meat with the onion dip and cranberries. Flip it so all ingredients mix to the bottom. Set the crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.
